This page used to contain my bio, but I’m now a believer in remaining anonymous for political blogging. This change of mind happened once I graduated and started applying for jobs - unsurprisingly.

So here’s what I can tell you. My name is an anagram of Fluent Radical. I’m 26 and I live in Wimbledon, England. I work as a programmer for a Shoreditch Web 2.0 startup. Politically I’m what Dinesh D’Souza calls a ‘libertarian conservative’ and I put two things at the top of my issues list:

  • the constitution
  • the economy

I started this blog in June 2005. It was then called optimates, after the ‘conservative’ faction in the Roman Senate.
